Illuminating Townsville with Durable Design and Dynamic Colour
Project Description
At Pure Lighting Australia, we are proud to have been entrusted with the illumination of the iconic Townsville Sign, creating a striking visual landmark that reflects the vibrant spirit of North Queensland.
Given the opportunity to devise a lighting solution capable of withstanding the region's extreme conditions, we designed and installed a custom light fixture that effectively eliminate the access of water. To ensure optimal performance, we carefully selected control gear specifically suited for this application. The entire lighting system operates at a low voltage of 24 volts DC, ensuring 100% safety.
Our installation is programmed to display various colours every day of the year, as per the client's requirements. Since 2018, Pure Lighting has been managing the programming of this site annually, consistently monitoring and adjusting it via online access. Utilising state-of-the-art systems, we upload programming remotely, ensuring the Townsville Sign always shines in its best light.
